Sandy Meizlish is the managing partner at Barkan Neff Handelman Meizlish, LLP, specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability law. Mr. Meizlish attended the University of Missouri where he received his B.A. in Journalism (1976). He then went on to earn his J.D. from Capital University Law School (1979). Mr. Meizlish is admitted to the Supreme Court of Ohio, the United States District Court (Southern and Northern District of Ohio), and the United States Court of Appeals (Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits).
Throughout his career, Mr. Meizlish has worked diligently to represent individuals injured or wronged through the negligence of others, including large corporations and underinsured motorists. He is a life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum signifying that he has won settlements in excess of $1 Million Dollars for his clients. He has been named to Who’s Who in the Law as well as received the American Jurisprudence Award. Mr. Meizlish also submits publications and lectures to the Columbus Bar Association.
In concurrence with his legal achievements, Mr. Meizlish affiliates himself with various professional organizations. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice (Leaders Forum), The Melvin M. Belli Society (Fellow), and the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association.
Around the Columbus Metropolitan Area Mr. Meizlish is heavily involved with the Leo Yassenoff Jewish Community Center, the Columbus Bar Foundation, and the William A. Barkan Memorial 3 on 3 Charity Basketball Tournament.
