Insurance Claim Adjusters
Adjusters that have actual claims handling duties meet the administrative exemption and are not eligible for overtime. The duties would include but is not limited to interviewing the insured, witnesses and physicians, inspecting property damage, reviewing factual information, evaluating and recommending coverage of claims, negotiating settlements and making recommendations as to litigation the exemption would apply.
